Highlights from this year’s meeting include appearances by Minister of Education Leona Dombrowsky and NDP Leader Andrea Horwath. Lieutenant Governor David Onley and Grand Chief Stan Beardy from the Nishnawbe Aski Nation will address the assembly on Wednesday, July 18 to bring information about the Lieutenant Governor’s Aboriginal Summer Reading Camps and other literacy initiatives.
